So many memories, of my life as it used to be.
I had few problems, I was young and so carefree.
But how life has changed; too much responsibility.
I yearn for those days; they fade into obscurity.
They’re ghosts in the moonlight,
Just ethereal haze.
They’re ghosts in the moonlight,
As my memories fade.
Spending time with friends, joyous days of revelry.
Lazy days in the sun seem all but a distant dream.
We’ve all got our reasons; new homes and families.
But just for a moment, I hold onto history.
