Track Name: Building Bridges
There are times when the world keeps getting me down;
Kicks me in the teeth; I thought I got it all sussed out,
But I was wrong; I didn’t know where I belonged.
I needed somewhere where I could sing my songs.

And in my imagination,
I was drowning inside my own despair.
I was lost in contemplation,
I needed a sanctuary where I could lose my cares.

I’m building bridges, across the water,
Where I was sinking in my mind.
I’ll build a boat so I can sail the ocean,
Where I was swimming with no land to find.

I felt my life just kept slipping away,
And every time I made the same mistakes;
I should have tried harder, but now I’m older,
And much wiser than I ever was before.

I’m building bridges, across the water,
Where I was sinking in my mind.
I’ll build a house so I can protect my family,
And keep them warm and safe until the day I die.
Track Name: Searchlight
When I started on this journey,
I wasn’t sure were it would take me,
I didn’t know what I was looking for,
When travelling to all those distant shores.
But now that I’m here I feel so alone.

Moving round in circles now I’ve lost my way,
A broken compass; navigation’s gone astray.
I need directions to guide me into safety,
Somehow I know you are the one to save me.

The searchlight will guide me home,
Your searchlight will guide me home.

Now I’m lost in these foreign lands,
Strange adventures I can’t understand.
It’s not the journey I was hoping for,
When I left from those distant shores,
And all that I want is to find my way home.
Track Name: Ghosts In The Moonlight
So many memories, of my life as it used to be.
I had few problems, I was young and so carefree.
But how life has changed; too much responsibility.
I yearn for those days; they fade into obscurity.

They’re ghosts in the moonlight,
Just ethereal haze.
They’re ghosts in the moonlight,
As my memories fade.

Spending time with friends, joyous days of revelry.
Lazy days in the sun seem all but a distant dream.
We’ve all got our reasons; new homes and families.
But just for a moment, I hold onto history.
Track Name: Crossroads Part I
I’m standing at the crossroads,
And I’m waiting for the moment,
That this journey to the unknown will begin.

I don’t know where I’m heading,
And I’m not sure how to get there,
But somehow I will find a way to win.

And I, I’ll just follow my heart.
And I, I’ll just follow my heart.

There’s no way of really knowing,
If the route that I am going,
Will bring me to the goals I truly seek.

All that I can hope for,
Is the faith to keep on trying,
And maybe that is all I really need.
Track Name: The Path
You know that you can’t always win,
But you can decide how hard you lose.
You just don’t know where to begin,
It all depends on the path you choose.

And you try oh you try,
To take the right path,
But you just don’t know where to start.

And you try oh you try,
To follow your heart,
But you just don’t know where to start.

One path could take you into fields of joy,
Or it could lead you into sorrow.
That is the choice that you must make,
Only you can know which way to follow.
Track Name: Ennui
When you’ve got nothing to lose,
Then you can choose to embrace the blues,
Trapped in your own world; no way to break free.

When you’re tired of the same routine,
No energy; no room to breathe.
Your eyes are wide open but there’s nothing left to see.

Ennui; it’s a plague it’s a disease.
Your enemy is ennui: are you lost for eternity?

So what are you going to do?
Do you just give in or accept the truth?
And wake yourself up to what your life can really be.

Look outside of your own constraints,
The world moves on; it never waits.
You are the master of your own destiny.

Ennui; there’s still time for you to see.
Can you break free from ennui,
If you can find the energy?
Track Name: The Escapologist
Do you ever feel that life, life is like a straitjacket.
And you’re sitting on the edge, the edge of a deep abyss.

The earth begins to crumble, the ground begins to move.
And as your body tumbles, you know this time you lose.

I sometimes wish I could escape like Houdini.
All of a sudden I would just break free.

But deep down I know I can be stronger,
And face up to reality.

I feel just like a needle, stuck in a record’s groove.
The music keeps on skipping, unable to move.

And though these chains that bind me,
Feel tighter every day.
I will keep on fighting so I can get away.
Track Name: MARVIN
Sometimes I feel just like MARVIN, I’m paranoid, paranoid,
About where my life is heading; will I get a happy ending?

Sometimes I think:
‘Well what’s the use in working hard to make a living,
When in the end we all just die, in the end we all just die’

Don’t talk to me about life,
Because I feel like MARVIN.
It’s such a complete waste of time,
Because I feel like MARVIN.
I don’t care about the world at all.

Some might say it’s about the journey,
I shouldn’t want to leave too early,
But I’m so tired of this rat-race; I want to find another way.

We struggle hard to make ends meet,
For clothes to wear and food to eat,
But in the end is it worth it all,
When it’s time for our curtain call?

I’m not afraid of dying at all.
Track Name: Crossroads Part II
I’m standing at the crossroads,
And I’m waiting for the moment,
That this journey to the unknown will begin.

I don’t know where I’m heading,
And I’m not sure how to get there,
But somehow I will find a way to win.

And I’ll just follow my heart.
And I’ll just follow my heart.

There’s no way of really knowing,
If the route that I am going,
Will bring me to the goals I truly seek.

All that I can hope for,
Is the faith to keep on trying,
And maybe that is all I really need.
Track Name: Jubilee Hill
Oh won’t you follow me,
Along the path of destiny,
And I will lead the way,
To reach our Jubilee.

As I look back through the years,
And I face up to my fears,
All my worries fade away;
In the end they mean nothing.

And this is where my soul will rest,
This is where my heart lies true,
This is where I will remain,
Just blowing in the wind.

I’ve seen much and travelled far,
Though those days are in the past,
I can still feel the wonder,
Of when I was younger.

Though this ship is set to sail,
On a journey beyond the veil,
There’s still time for one last song,
On the path where I belong.
